Therapy

This is a game with a basis in psychology. Players go through six phases of life answering trivia questions related to these phases. If they land on a therapy praxis, they have to answer not-too-intimate therapy-questions about themselves instead. For these therapy-questions, the other players have to guess the answer, either alone (therapy in their praxis) or in consensus with the other players (group therapy). Through these therapy questions, most games will result in surprising revelations; you will get to know your friends/ game buddies/ … a bit better.

As in Trivial Pursuit and The Game of Life, Therapy is a race to collect six pieces (one for each of the six phases of life). Pieces are not only granted for correctly answering questions, but also for guessing what your fellow players answer while they are in therapy. Depending on the version, you will play with different unusual playing pieces (e.g. tiny psychiatry couches and brain lobes).
